Speaking Engagements
Nadia Sanchez is passionate about speaking to organizations about her journey from an upbringing filled with instability to where she is now; a mother of three, a wife, and the founder of Love Your Neighbor NOLA, an organization born from a lifetime of trauma and tragedy. Raised in a home with domestic violence, substance abuse, and poverty, Nadia finished high school and college, against all likely outcomes, and found success in the corporate world. After the loss of her mother in 2018 to a violent crime in New Orleans, Nadia was compelled to create Love Your Neighbor NOLA, a non-profit that works with families to disrupt cycles of violence. This unlikely outcome drives Nadia to share the hope of a better life, whether to a group of 20 or 200, she encourages and motivates individuals to find the purpose from their pain.

2023 Association of Marriage and Family Therapists: Nadia spoke to a visiting group of 250 individuals about her road to founding Love Your Neighbor NOLA. This also included an onsite community engagement project.

She was able to speak to an audience of 200 individuals about the population served by Love Your Neighbor NOLA and how her life experience encouraged her decision to found the non-profit.

During this intimate discussion, Nadia was able to address navigating faith through trauma and tragedy, as well as how forgiveness changes the lens of criminal justice expectations.
